Dr. Lain Lye is a licensed naturopathic doctor in California. She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in beautiful San Diego. Prior to attending Bastyr University, she received her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from University of California, Irvine. Her passion for medicine began at a young age when she observed her mother's struggle with cancer. While undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, her mother was utilizing many traditional herbal medicines as adjunctive care. Her fascination with the medications her mom had relied on initially inspired her to pursue becoming a pharmacist. During this pursuit of becoming a pharmacist and her experience as a pharmacy technician, she realized the value of preventive medicine. With this knowledge, she became determined to find a more comprehensive approach to health. She was elated to find naturopathic medicine, which utilizes a broad range of tools and modalities ranging from nutrition and lifestyle interventions to botanical medicine to IV nutrient therapy. She truly believes in empowering her patients and the body's innate ability to heal itself.

Her interests are in men's and women's hormonal health, digestive health and IV nutrient therapy. During her time in school her interests and skills for IV therapy flourished. After graduating, she continued to teach the phlebotomy and IV therapy course, as well as being a clinical supervisor, supervising students on the IV therapy shift at Bastyr University, San Diego.

Being raised in Southern California, Dr. Lye has always enjoyed the beach and sunny weather. In her free time, she enjoys painting, cooking, doing any artistic, and hands-on crafts. Taking her dog Aiko to play-dates takes up much of her time these days when she is not working.
